Oakwood features a 2nd living area (Direct TV/DVD) where 2 additional queen bedrooms are located.
The 2nd living area is perfect for the kids TV/Video room or just to have some quiet time. Simply relaxing and beautifully decorated, the 2nd living area features a kitchenette area with sink/pint-size refrigerator & microwave.
The front entrance features a covered porch while the back entrance leads to an open fenced in courtyard complete with patio furniture and BBQ grills. The back yard can be shared by the sister cabins at Crooked Oaks Campground.
The atmosphere at the Crooked Oaks Campground is relaxing. From the front porch of Oakwood, you'll be able to watch your friends & family enjoy the campfire, play a serious game of basketball, while others fishing in the fishing pond or just hang out in the wide open courtyard that faces the pond. Oakwood Cabin is located in Crooked Oaks Campground which consists of three separate cabins grouped together on 12 acres.

Each cabin can be rented individually and each cabin offers plenty of space for private outside activities. You can visit with your neighbors or do Nothing at All! Guests often arrive with a long list of action-packed plans. But once they settle onto their porch to watch their kids enjoy the large open courtyard area – then "Nothing to do" becomes just the perfect thing to do!

Peace and quiet is promoted. Therefore no ATV riding on the property and no outdoor music.
Just wanted to say we enjoyed our stay at Oakwood. It was very relaxing and our 7 year old son had a great time catching the perch and he did catch about a pound bass. The cabin was very nice hope to come again.
The Pleasant's
Fishing Pond: Stocked with perch, blue gill, bass, and sunfish. Fish usually bite redworms, minnows and kernel corn (yep, from a can, like Del Monte). You can find worms by scratching under the leaves at the edge of the woods. You can also get grasshoppers from the meadow. Or purchase bait from the nearby convenience store. We recommend small hooks and small bobbers. It's a good place for fly fishing 101 to practice your casting skills
Nature Walks: Twelve acres of wooded land to roam. A Wildlife Habitat for deer, raccoon, squirrel, fox, opossum, armadillo – just to name a few.
Volleyball, Badminton and Horseshoes Fun times for all and plenty to do at Crooked Oaks Cabins.
Bicycling: A perfect area for bicycles. Ride around the pond, through the forest, beside the long road to the cabins or just cruze around the cabins.
Pet Friendly: We request, all dogs on a lease to be courteous to other guests occupying the campground. Only small Puppy Dogs inside the cabins. Large dogs, please bring crates. Be cautious not to let your pets roam freely, there are 12 acres of forestland for your best friend to get lost in. A fenced in backyard is available to accommodate your best friend!

$135 to $205 (rates vary by season & based on four) $12.00 for each additional person. Pet fee is $15.00, per pet, per night. Children 3 & under free.
Oakwood Cabin is located in an area with two other cabins. This area is known as Crooked Oaks Campground. (Please click to view map)
Oakwood is located to the frontside of the other cabins and offers some privacy. This cabin is not secluded. There are a lot of trees in this area.
Boat and Trailer parking is available. The driveway is flat and easy to pull in and back out.
The road to Oakwood is a dirt/gravel road and is well packed making it easy for motorcycles and trailers.
Located approximately 1 mile west of Hwy 259. You will not hear any highway noise from this cabin.
