Bear Hug is a cozy traditional style two bedroom, one bathroom cabin tucked away in a peaceful little area that overlooks a nice semi-secluded part of the forest. When you enter the open living room/kitchen area, you will a peaceful Bear Hug of comfort & relaxation.

If a quiet corner for reading a good book is what you need, just settle down for that long deserved quiet time in front of the wood burning stove. Gather the family around the large harvest table for a wonderful meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen or grilled on the outdoor charcoal grill. After dinner you can go back to the time when families gathered around the kitchen table for conversation and challenging each other to a board game or working a jigsaw puzzle.

The outdoor hot tub is a wonderful way to begin or end the day. Sit in the warm water and enjoy the beautiful trees and sounds of the birds while enjoying your quiet get-a-way. Bear Hug will sleep four people and can accommodate up to 6 people. (For more than 6 people, please bring additional bedding, ie: air bed and sheets)

Outside Bear Hug you'll love the warm and charming back porch that is nestled among the graceful surroundings of the forest, accented with the sounds of a small creek and the crackling of a campfire .

Accent your special time together with a welcome basket of chocolate, fruit or fun snacks, or perhaps a bottle of champagne. These special touches can be awaiting you upon your arrival to Bear Hug. Prices are available for extra amenities through on-line reservations or by calling us direct.

One floor totaling 900sq. ft. plus. 450sq. ft of decks on two sides of the cabin. With plenty of patio furniture and a charcoal grill

Rate Range
$105 to $195.00. (Rates vary by season & based on four people) $12.00 for each additional person per night, plus tax. Children 3 & under free. Please add $25.00 per night, per pet.

A minimum of 2 nights is required.  Some dates require 3-4 nights.   Review Policies & Reservations for more details.


Check-in time is anytime after 3:00pm and Check-out time is 11:00am. A major credit card is required to secure your reservation. A $50 per night, per cabin advance payment is required at the time of your reservation. The balance is due 14 days prior to arrival. When making an on-line reservation, a confirmation of your reservation will be sent within 1 to 12 hours that includes your driving directions to your cabin. When making your reservations by calling us directly, a confirmation will be sent immediately after the completion of the call. If you do not receive your confirmation, please return to the website/contacts and send us a short note as we can not always communicate through some servers. We consistently can not communicate with sbcglobal accounts. If we are not added to your address book, most confirmations fall into your spam/junk mail folder. Cabins are “Self Check-In”. Approximately 5-10 days prior to arrival a 2nd confirmation will be sent that includes your combination lock code to enter your cabin. Please print your confirmation as it includes your driving directions to your cabin. At anytime, if you need assistance, please call.

Central Heat/Air, Wood Burning Stove (wood not provided) Cable TV, DVD, High Speed Internet, Full Kitchen includes: Refrigerator, oven/range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster & blender. Decks include: Patio furniture, charcoal BBQ grill, hot tub & outdoor fire ring area.

All cookware, dishes, silverware, glassware provided. Including paper towels, dish towels/rags & BBQ tools. Bring your food and your clothes! We make every effort to stock your cabin with all the little extras. (Salt, pepper, coffee, filters, paper towels, toilet tissue, bath bar soap, hand soap dishwashing soap & laundry soap)
